Services and Support During Out of Hours

If you require support outside of normal office hours, or during the holidays, please select one of the below for a list of alternative services;

Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Support

Samaritans: 0151 708 88 88
You can contact your GP to make an appointment or if you need emergency crisis support and you are under 16 please present at Alder Hey A&E Eaton Road. If you are over 16 please present at The Royal Liverpool Hospital, Prescot Street.

Homeless Support

There is a 24 hour emergency support centre, which offer accommodation:
Labre House, Camden Street (off London Road)

The Whitechapel Centre is open throughout the Christmas period, including Christmas and Boxing Day offering a wide range of support for homeless people.

Safeguarding

If you are feeling unsafe at any time, you can contact Childline on 0800 11 11 or dial 999 for emergency assistance.

 

Crisis

If you are feeling suicidal or at risk you can ring your GP service and ask for an out of hour’s appointment, you can also present at your local A&E service or ring an ambulance if you are at high risk.

If you would like to speak to someone about how you are feeling you can call the Samaritans free on- 116123. Their helpline is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
