This coming Friday 15th May, the Peer Mentoring and Volunteering project in conjunction with Acting Up Knowsley will be putting on a short performance at The Brink on Parr Street in Liverpool city centre. Acting Up are an award winning group of young people with disabilities who meet on a weekly basis to learn performing arts skills and who regularly perform across the city.
This year’s Light Night Festival is celebrating Liverpool’s sea faring history, exploring the Cunard Line and the leaving of Liverpool. In light of this (pun intended!), Acting Up and PMV have written and will be performing a Sea Shanty along with soundscapes and shadow puppetry at 6.30pm. If you are out and about, make sure you come and see us!
