FREE Mental Health Promotion Training

Merseyside youth association will be delivering a FREE level 4 accredited Mental Health Promotion training called “Inside Out” which is due to start in September 2012

All sessions will be held on Wednesday evenings from 5pm – 7.30pm and it is essential that you are available to attend all 6 sessions in order to gain your accreditation.

All those wishing to go on the inside out training MUST have attended ‘Mad’ ‘Bad’ or Misunderstood?(MBM) first.

Training will be held at the Door in Hanover street, Liverpool City Centre and anyone working with Children and Young People in Liverpool can access the course.

Wednesday 14th October
Wednesday 28th October

YOU MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND ALL OF THESE DATES TO COMPLETE THE COURSE AND GAIN YOUR ACCREDITATION


Due to the training being in high demand, places will be limited to two per organisation

Merseyside Youth Association have released some new dates for the one day FREE Mental Health training course ‘Mad’ ‘Bad’ or misunderstood? This training course deals with current issues affecting young people such as: isolation, homophobic bullying, specific learning difficulties, racism, violence, post-traumatic stress, young carers and substance use.

‘Mad’ ‘Bad’ or misunderstood? Is a unique training course in that it offers an opportunity to reflect on and gain an understanding of how young people’s behaviour can act as communication while also hearing from the professionals and young people themselves through the DVD workshops presented throughout the training day.

Each Participant will take a copy of the DVD along with the training book away with them for future reference for themselves and the people they work with.

ALL BOOKING FOR MBM MUST BE MADE VIA THE ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM

MYA are hosting 2 MBM training dates before Inside Out starts on 19th September for participants’ who need to complete MBM first. Training will be held at the Door, Hanover street and the dates are:

Tuesday 11th September 9.30 - 4
Wed 19th September 9.30 – 4

There will be additional MBM training dates released later in the year
