MYA Training Academy offering a Career Progression Programme.
It is a yearlong course covering the following qualifications:
• BTEC Level 1 Award, Certificate and Diploma in Personal and Social Development
• BTEC Level 1 Award, Certificate and Diploma in Vocational Studies
• BTEC Level 1 Award, Certificate and Diploma in Work Skills
• Maths, English and ITQ at Level 1
12 qualifications in total!
Plus many other training opportunities such as Safeguarding Training and Leadership Skills Training.
The Btec qualifications develop personal, transferable and employment skills that can be transferred to any industry.
This excellent course is open to people who are 16-18 years of age, are not in education, employment or training and wish to gain worthwhile qualifications. Our course may be suitable for anyone that left school within the past couple of years and did not go onto training, education or employment- or did secure a place and has since dropped off. It is a safe, inclusive, nurturing environment and we offer lots of support and opportunities to explore things that interest you.

The sessions are based at Merseyside Youth Association on Hanover Street.

To offer our learners the opportunity to gain the skills and qualifications to enable them to really progress.
We do his by applying youth work ethics to education. Our staff team is made up of qualified teachers and qualified youth workers but we create an environment that young people choose to engage in.
Career Progression Programme 16 to 18 course operates Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 10.00am to 4.00pm.

MYA have Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ and are an approved exam and accreditation centre for all major exam boards.
