Disability Equality

This project provides a holistic approach in delivering inclusive play provisions that build on the philosophy of inclusion and therefore breakdown existing barriers that may be in communities and is specifically aimed at targeting disabled young people who do not receive any services currently.

The DAC team promotes the social model of disability and therefore works towards creating opportunities for disabled young people to participate in mainstream services.

The aim of the project is to enhance existing quality youth work provision through promoting inclusive programmes and developing an awareness of the issues surrounding disability.
