What do people say about us?

‘Ambition has worked with MYA in many different programmes and capacities, but one of our most successful partnerships is our 2013 Football Championships.  After successfully applying and gaining the contract for co-ordinating and delivering the Football Championships, MYA worked tirelessly to ensure that the Championships ran smoothly and to plan. The great effort of everyone involved was much appreciated and untimely resulted in the 2013 Championships achieving a rise in overall participation, and also an increase in girls participation by over 400%! The feedback from young people that attended the event was very positive, with over 96% of those that took part in our survey stating that the Championship had helped to develop their confidence, communication and team work skills, and fitness levels.’
Chris Marr, Programmes Manager, Ambition

Merseyside Youth Association worked with Merseyside Sports Partnership on our Get On Track programme ( Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust ). MYA were integral in the recruitment of the young people for this programme and supported us to better understand the NEET agenda in Merseyside. Their strengths lie in the local understanding of both facility development for youth provision and direct consultation with the right partners and organisations at a local level. MYA are always a pleasure to work in partnership with and hopefully this will continue for the foreseeable future.
